Morgan McGarvey’s practice focuses on litigation, drawing upon experience he acquired as a Special Assistant Attorney General in Kentucky and in Washington D.C. as a staff member for Congressman Ben Chandler. He’s an excellent communicator and has a sharp sense for understanding a client’s needs. Mr. McGarvey began his career as an associate at the largest law firm in Kentucky. He joined M&P in 2010, serves on the firm’s Marketing Committee and is a member of the Litigation Practice Group.
More Than a Lawyer
Mr. McGarvey enjoys skiing, sports, music, politics and a life that is never dull. One of his most interesting experiences includes time spent in Washington D.C. handling Congressman Ben Chandler's legislation and appropriation requests. Resourceful even at a young age, Mr. McGarvey worked as a skipper on the Walt Disney Jungle Cruise during college, an accomplishment that only few can claim. These occasions fortunately haven't gone unnoticed. Photojournalist Pam Spaulding has captured much of Mr. McGarvey's life in a special book project for National Geographic called AN AMERICAN FAMILY: Three Decades with the McGarveys.
